- What is Chockstone Labs?
- A social media manager for people running several small brands. Schedules and approves posts to Instagram, TikTok, Threads, YouTube Shorts and Facebook Pages, answers comments, runs link-in-bio pages and tracks brand deals. Your AI assistant can run it, inside rules our server enforces.
- Which networks does it post to?
- Instagram (including Reels, Stories and carousels), Facebook Pages, Threads, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, Mastodon and Google Business Profile. The full list is on the features page. Doesn't post to X.
- How much does it cost?
- Starter is free: 1 brand, 3 accounts, 2 people and 90 posts a month. Creator is $39 a month or $390 a year for 5 brands, 15 accounts and 5 people. Studio is $149 a month or $1,490 a year for 25 brands, 75 accounts and 25 people. Prices are in US dollars. See pricing.
- Is there a free trial?
- Starter is free with no time limit and no card, and it has every feature. Try it there, then upgrade when you need more room.
- Do I need an AI assistant?
- No. Everything works in the app. If you use Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant, connect it and it can draft, schedule and report for you.
- Which AI assistants work with it?
- Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex and other assistants that support MCP connect at
https://chockstonelabs.com/mcp. Your own scripts can use the API with a key. Use with Claude · Schedule with ChatGPT. - Can my AI assistant post without me?
- No. A person approves every post in the app. An owner can let one connection approve what it submits; that is off until they turn it on, and TikTok and YouTube posts still wait for a person.
- Why are there no AI credits?
- We run no AI model on your data. The assistant you already pay for does the writing, so there is nothing for us to meter.
- Can clients approve posts?
- Yes. Send an approval link: the client approves or asks for changes in the page, with no account. Clients who approve through a link don’t count toward your plan’s people.
- What counts as a brand?
- A workspace with its own accounts, calendar and inbox. Run one per client or business.
- What happens if I go over a limit?
- Nothing is deleted because of it, and posts already scheduled still publish. You can’t add more of whatever is over its limit until you are back under it or move to a bigger plan. Posts a month open up again on the 1st.
- Can I cancel, and do you give refunds?
- Cancel any time in Settings, under Billing and invoices; your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for and then returns to Starter. If Chockstone Labs isn’t right for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it.
- Is there a phone app?
- Yes. The iPhone app puts what needs you first and lets you swipe to approve. On any phone you can also install it from the browser.
- What do you do with my data?
- We connect to your accounts only through each platform’s official API, and only to do what you set up. We don’t sell your data, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models. Privacy Policy.
- How is it different from Buffer, Later or Hootsuite?
- Priced by brand with every feature on every plan, approvals and the inbox on the free plan too, and your rules enforced on our server when an assistant does the work. Each comparison also says where the other tool is better. See the comparisons.
