Costs less for one person with a few channels: the free plan holds 3 channels, and paid channels start at $5 a month.
Posts to more networks, including X and Substack, which we don’t post to.
Its inbox covers about 10 networks, including TikTok comments. Ours covers Instagram, Facebook, Threads and YouTube.
Has built-in AI writing for people who don’t use an assistant.
Its MCP server is on every plan too, so “schedule posts with Claude” on its own is no reason to switch.
Has years of history: 1,491 reviews on Capterra.

Where Chockstone Labs is better

Pricing by brand, not channel. Creator holds 5 brands, 15 accounts and 5 people for $39 a month. When we priced it on October 21, 2026, 15 channels on Buffer Team came to about $140 a month.
Approvals on every plan, including free, and clients approve through a link with no account.
Approvals, posting limits and messaging rules are enforced on our server, so an assistant can’t skip them.
