Where Later is better
- Has an Android app as well as an iPhone app. We have an iPhone app, and on Android you install Chockstone Labs from the browser.
- Posts to Snapchat, which we don’t.
- Its inbox includes TikTok comments.
- Its link-in-bio analytics go back one to two years, and its Instagram calendar is mature.
- Has more history: 398 reviews on Capterra.
Where Chockstone Labs is better
- A free plan with every feature: 1 brand, 3 accounts and 2 people, with no card and no time limit. Later has a 14-day trial.
- Approvals and the inbox on every plan. At Later both start on Growth.
- Pricing by brand with people included: Creator has 5 people, Studio 25. Later’s Growth plan includes 2 users.
- No AI credits. Your own assistant writes, and it connects over MCP. We found no MCP server at Later.
- Keyword replies by Instagram DM, brand deals and file requests on every plan.
Which should you pick?
Pick Later if you live on Instagram, want Snapchat, need an Android app, or want AI captions without bringing your own assistant. Pick Chockstone Labs if you run several brands, want approvals and the inbox without upgrading, or want Claude or ChatGPT to do the work inside rules it can’t break.
